Lee Health operates without any local tax support or taxing authority. Revenue generated from services fund day-to-day operations and long term improvements.

In 2016, the Lee Memorial Health System Board of Directors adopted “Lee Health” as the health system’s new public name and logo. This rebranding initiative coincided with the health system’s centennial celebration. While the health system’s official legal name remains “Lee Memorial Health System,” the “Lee Health” name emphasizes the health system’s ongoing commitment to promoting patient health within the communities we serve.
